It Felt Like Home At Cafe Manila

When laziness kicks in, we can count always on one of the Filipino restaurants in Dublin called Cafe Manila. They serve different Filipino dishes that you can think of. All foods are freshly cooked by a Filipino Chef that is truly great with his craft. (Pity I didn't get his name.)

That was not the first time we dine there. And I tell you with my full tummy, I never tasted anything that I don't like. My palate loved everything I ordered at Cafe Manila. Here's our lovely and delicious lunch:
Spicy Chao Fan Special Rice

Garlic Fried Rice topped with Sisig (I just did this. Garlic rice is served separately.)

Sisig
Cafe Manila is located at 74 Middle Abbey St Dublin 1. A pretty convenient location when your at the City Centre. So the next time you're in town, go check out the place. You will definitely feel the Philippine atmosphere through the native food, native decorations and amazing Filipino service. And on your way out don't forget to visit the Filipino shop just behind the dining area. They also have lunch buffet on weekends. Food price is reasonable and affordable. Just for example the Spicy Fried Rice that hubby had cost €7.50 and the Sisig Supreme is €11.50 (if I remember it right).

My overall experience with Cafe Manila is 10/10. I will always go back there, that's for sure.

  1. That is sooo yummy sis! I love beef chao fan and like you, we tend to visit the nearby Chowking in our area whenever the craving for Filipino dishes kicks in. However, my hubby cooks really good Filipino dishes so I don't miss much of our food back home except for the "malagkit" na mga desserts.

  6. somehow, though i have been exposed to so many cuisines, but nothing for me can beat the taste of home, yes, I always long for Filipino dishes, despite I cook mostly Filipino foods at home. When we eat outside, somehow, if there is a Filipino, I would choose it, I am that crazy over Filipino dishes. you take very good pictures of the food.

  17. Cafe Manila serves authentic Filipino cuisine that really makes you feel just like you're home... 'makes me come back as often as I can and with its very accessible location in Dublin's City Center, you will never miss it. Try their halo-halo next time, it's similar to Chow King's to me :)
