Ingredients:

500 grams of beef (diced or sliced)
1 onion 
1 celery stick
200 grams mangetout beans (Sitsaro) (cut in half)
200 grams young corn (cut about 1 inch long)
2 medium size carrots (sliced)
1 and 1/2 tbsp of oyster sauce
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp sunflower or vegetable oil
1 tsp salt

For the marinade, mix the following ingredients in a bowl.
1 tbsp Mirin
1 tbsp Light Soy Sauce or any Filipino Brand Soy Sauce
1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil (regular sesame oil is okay)
pinch of salt 
pinch of pepper


Cooking methods:

  1. Marinate the diced or sliced beef in a mixture of Mirin, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt and pepper for 30 minutes.
  2. In a wok or big pan, put 1 tbsp of the sunflower or vegetable oil and stir-fry the beef until brown and tender or until liquid evaporates. Make sure to set your stove on medium heat. Set them aside.
    Marinating and cooking the beef.
  3. Put the remaining sunflower or vegetable oil into the wok or pan and stir-fry the onion for 2 minutes then add the celery and young corn. Cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add in the mangetout and carrots. Pour 1/2 cup of water and cook for another 3 minutes. 
  5. Finally, add the cooked beef, oyster sauce and salt. Cook for another minute. 
  6. Serve hot with boiled rice.
